Abstract
A 56-year-old female presented with left lower limb weakness following a 1-week history of sudden severe headache. CT scan revealed subarachnoid haemorrhage and small areas of infarction in the right anterior cerebral artery (ACA) territory. Digital subtraction angiography (DSA) revealed a very small (≤1.5 mm) anterior communicating artery aneurysm (Fig. 54.1) with severe vasospasm of anterior and middle cerebral arteries and distal internal carotid artery (Fig. 54.1a, b).
