Abstract

Based upon recent success in ultra-slow positive muon production by employing laser resonant-ionization of the thermal muonium, a new scheme of muon colliders and a new production method of an intense and bright high-energy neutrino (v̄μ,ve) beam are proposed. There, by using these muons as ion sources, one can accelerate and store to produce high-energy/high-intensity muon beams and high-quality neutrino beams.
