Abstract

Utilization of Industrial Waste Materials, 2. – Synthesis of New, Chiral β‐Amino Alcoholsβ‐Amino alcohols and β‐amino diols with two up to six stereogenic centers were synthesized staring from the benzyl ester of the bicyclic proline analogue (all‐R)‐2‐azabicyclo‐[3.3.0]octane‐3‐carboxylic acid (all‐R)‐1b by reaction with epoxides or dimerization with oxalyl chloride. This is another example for the utilization of the industrial waste material (all‐R)‐1a. magnified image
