Abstract
A Schottky barrier PV detector has been constructed by forming both barrier and ohmic electrodes on the same surface of a narrow bandgap semiconductor. The spectral response of a Si-detector of a new design is given. The results indicate that i.r. detectors made in this new way produce maximum response at the bandedge.
