Abstract

In order to optimize the milling time of ceramic powders, mean particle size and to characterize homogeneity, mean nearest neighbour distances of sintering additives were measured as a function of milling time. With the particle size dependence an optimum milling time could be determined. On the other hand, there was no clear indication that homogeneity increased with milling time.
