Abstract

This paper presents a touch stimulating interface named TouchPad, a part of Intelligent Glasses system, an electronic mobility assistance for visually impaired. It addresses TouchPad design and implantation with shape alloy memory (SMA) and its evaluation via a set of original experiments with volunary blindfolded subjects.
