Abstract
This paper addresses the changes to funding for the State of Vermont in FY23. Vermont education changes for FY23 include expanding exceptional student education eligibility, “selective monitoring,” and simplified Home Study processes. Higher education systems continue to consolidate to combat a $25 million structural deficit and the education budget, increased by $97 million from FY22 to FY23.
