Abstract

This paper deals with a system for active rotor's vibration control. A test stand Rotor-kit for testing of the effect of rotors instability has been assembled. This system enables to control journal bearings for suppressing instability caused by an oil film actively. As actuators the piezoactuators have been used. The system of Rotor-kit has been designed in order to test different types of shafts such as the basic test objects. Tested shafts have different properties and are made from different materials. In this paper we focus on the measurement of three types of shafts where two shafts are from the magnetic material and one from the non-magnetic material. The magnetic shafts are divided on the hollow shaft and filled shaft. The laboratory measurement for verification of deviation measurement (instability) were carried out. The measurement result is measured data comparison from three different types of sensors namely sensor of deviations (digital micrometer), sensor based on eddy current (inductive sensor) and sensor based on capacitive principle. These sensors are basic measurement components of the Rotor-kit system and for rotor's instability suppressing is the verification of measurement results for used sensor types also very important.
