Abstract

Cognitive flexibility is important for stress resilience, but the underlying neural circuits are largely unknown. Studies have implicated the orbitofrontal cortex (OFC) and hippocampus in cognitive function and stress processing, but how these regions interact to facilitate cognitive flexibility and stress resilience is unknown.
