Only recently, however, has the rather striking incidence of venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism associated with cancer of the pancreas been given much attention in the literature.2-18 In only one of these articles13 is mention made of arterial as well as venous thromboses in cases of pancreatic carcinoma.
