Abstract
Oral cancer is one of the most dreaded disease associated with high morbidity and mortality. Being detected in later stages, most often it is associated with poor survival rate. Early diagnosis is very crucial and there have been numerous diagnostic adjuncts available to aid in its early diagnosis. VELscope is a new advanced optical technique which is appealed to detect the precancer and cancer lesions in its early stage.
