Abstract

The velocity field of gas flow field has been studied under forced longitudinal oscillations of homogeneous gas in an open tube near the first natural frequency. Dependences of gas velocity in the axial direction in the external wave field at different distances from the open end of the tube have been obtained. Experimental results have been compared to theoretical calculations.
