Abstract

The unsteady flow of a non-Newtonian fluid above a rotating disk is studied with heat transfer in the presence of an axial uniform steady magnetic field without neglecting the Hall effect. The governing momentum and energy equations are solved numerically using the finite difference approximations. The inclusion of the Hall current together with the non-Newtonian fluid characteristics has important effects on the velocity and temperature fields
