Abstract
Vascular endothelial growth factor-C (VEGF-C) binds to special receptors on the vessel and lymphatic endothelium to accelerate the formation and metastasis of lung cancer. It shows specific action on malignant pleural effusion formation and immuno-regulation factor expression. It is reported that inhibition of VEGF-C would be a target point in lung cancer therapy. Key words: Vascular endothelial growth factor C ; Lung neoplasms; Pleural effusion
