In 2019, the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) proposed significant changes to the common program requirements, mandating that vascular surgery program directors (PDs) spend 50% of a 40-hour work week on nonclinical, nonteaching, administrative programmatic duties. The objective of this study was to determine the current time commitments of PDs and the financial support they receive for these duties and to assess PDs’ beliefs regarding appropriate time commitment.
