Abstract

Vascular complications have long been associated with the use of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), and the use of ECMO is increasingly common. The frequency and multidisciplinary care in ECMO programs is changing as ECMO volumes increase nationwide. Our study assessed the occurrence and clinical effects of vascular complications across all ECMO modes and cannulation Methods in a high-volume academic center.
