Abstract

Microscopic studies of surgical and necropsy tissues at the Municipal Tuberculosis Sanitarium have shown that in many cases of sarcoidosis vascular involvement was a prominent feature. This peculiarity was observed in most tissues except for the lymph nodes. Because of the similarity of the histologic pattern of many of the non-caseating granulomata it is felt that the presence of these vascular lesions can be helpful in differentiating sarcoidosis from other conditions resembling it.
