Abstract

AbstractThe arachin and conarachin fractions were extracted from 8 samples of groundnut of different varieties grown in different locations. Marked variations in the electro‐phoretic patterns, especially of the conarachin fractions, were observed and the amino acid composition of the fractions showed highly significant differences. These differences appeared to be both varietal and environmental in origin.
