Abstract

This paper presents the seasonal variations of particulate matter, short and long-term variations in PM2.5/PM10 ratios for 2020-2021 in Visakhapatnam city of Andhra Pradesh, India. The season-wise analysis indicates that 92% and 78% of the time, the 24-hr average value of PM10 and PM2.5 exceeded the breakpoints in winter. A significant correlation between PM2.5 ad PM10 was observed in all seasons. The mean ratios of PM2.5/PM10 during winter and post-monsoon are higher compared to the other two seasons.
