Abstract

The results from analyzing the muon snapshots (muonographs) obtained for Forbush decreases (FDs) registered by the URAGAN muon hodoscope are presented. Such snapshots provide information on the spatial-angular dynamics of an increase or decrease in the muon flux intensity for different zenith and azimuth angles. A correlation analysis of projections of the vectors of the relative muon flux anisotropy to the south and east, including various stages of FD development, is used for a quantitative description of the variation in the angular distribution of the muon flux during an FD.
