Abstract
We introduce an extended Shadow Wave Function to describe the solid-liquid coexistence in 4He at 0 temperature. The shadow-shadow interaction parameter is taken to be linearly dependent on the local density operator. This is the first realistic microscopic description of the solid-liquid interface in quantum systems.
