Abstract
In this paper, we investigate a thin film flow problem that arises in the lifting of a Jeffrey-six constant fluid on a vertically moving belt. The governing nonlinear differential equation is first integrated analytically and then solved by applying both He's variational iteration method (VIM) and Adomian's decomposition method (ADM). The numerical results obtained by these methods are compared through graphs and no visible difference is observed. This study highlights the significant features of the proposed methods and their ability for solving nonlinear problems arising in non-Newtonian fluid mechanics.
