Abstract

Rice grain yield is a quantitative polygenic character and highly influenced by environment. Extent and significance of association of yield with yield components should be considered, while determining the selection criteria of germplasm on the basis of available genetic variation plant height ranged from 84.60 to 148.62, panical length ranged from 20.76 to26.93, grain per panical ranged from 125 to 210 cm, yield per plant ranged from 13.36 to 22.77 g and test weight ranged from 26.83 to 28.64 .
