Abstract

Samples of leaf were obtained from seven clones of the northern or hyoscine type of Duboisia myoporoides for three successive summers at Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, and from the same clones for a winter and a summer at Nambour, south-eastern Queensland. The alkaloids were separated by partition chromatography and the hyoscine determined quantitatively.
