Abstract

To the Editors: We would like to share ideas on “Variables Associated With COVID-19 Vaccination Among Israeli Adolescents and the Need for Targeted Interventions.”1 This study highlights numerous juvenile populations with low COVID-19 vaccine compliance, according to Shkalim Zemer et al Given their unique cultural, social, and societal traits, targeted interventions are recommended for these communities.1 The opposition to and approval of local public health legislation against COVID-19 are influenced by a variety of variables. The best example is vaccine hesitancy, which could be correlated with trust in the local healthcare system.2 How willing people were to adopt public health measures during the COVID-19 outbreak depended on their level of faith in their local public health system.3 A recent study2 shown that people’s preferences for acceptance evolve over time. A longitudinal study paradigm, rather than the normal cross-sectional inquiry technique, should be employed to investigate the consequences of the COVID-19 outbreak and factors related to COVID-19 immunization.
