Abstract

In this paper, the influence of the rotating polarization angle of the optical feedback (OF) on the chaotic dynamic behavior of the vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers (VCSEL) is studied experimentally. Parallel-polarization optical feedback (PPOF) is considered in this investigation. It is shown that high-quality anti-phase polarization-resolved chaos synchronization is achieved in a VCSEL when subjected to the rotated-polarization angle and a strong level of OF. Furthermore, an evaluation of anti-phase chaotic synchronization is given with PPOF. The quality of the chaotic synchronization improves by increasing the polarization angle.
