Abstract

The LOS (line of sight) angle will jump twice before and after the infrared imaging guided missile identify the infrared decoy, which will cause the mutation of guidance command and reduce the guidance accuracy. The LOS angle jump model is established based on point source decoy, and the mechanism of LOS angle jump is derived. To solve the problem of miss distance increase caused by LOS angle jump, on the basis of traditional Kalman filter method which takes the current statistical model as the LOS motion form, a Kalman filter with variable variance is designed to extract LOS angular velocity. The simulation results show that under the influence of decoys, the accuracy of LOS angle and angular velocity output by traditional Kalman filtering method is poor, while the Kalman filtering method with variable variance can greatly improve the accuracy.
