Abstract

A key role in our study is played by the conjugation factor (FC): $$ \varepsilon = h_{m} /\left\langle h \right\rangle $$ . Here, $$h$$ is the true heat transfer coefficient (THTC), $$\left\langle h \right\rangle = \left\langle q / \vartheta \right\rangle$$ is the averaged true heat transfer coefficient (ATHTC), $$h_{{\text{m}}} = \left\langle q \right\rangle / \left\langle \vartheta \right\rangle$$ is the experimental heat transfer coefficient (EHTC), $$\vartheta$$ is the temperature difference body—fluid, and $$q$$ is heat flux at the solid–fluid interface.
