Abstract

The vapour pressures of 2-chloro-1,1,2-trifluoroethyl ethyl ether, 2-chloro-1,1,2-trifluoroethyl propyl ether, 2-chloro-1,1,2-trifluoroethyl chloromethyl ether, and 2-chloro-1,1,2-trifluoroethyl difluoromethyl ether in the range 3.5 through 100 kPa have been measured by comparative ebulliometry with estimated accuracy of 0.02 K and 0.1 per cent of the measured pressure. The results were correlated by Antoine and extended Antoine equations. Densities and refractive indices at 293.15 and 303.15 K for the four halogenated ethers are also reported.
