Abstract
Abstract The vapour phase partial oxidation of 4-methylanisole to p-anisaldehyde was investigated over binary oxide supported vanadium oxide catalysts at 623-748 K under normal atmospheric pressure. Among various catalysts the V2O5/Ga2O3-TiO2 effectively performed this reaction with high activity and selectivity.
