Abstract
The data available in literature for the system ethyl acetate+ethanol show discrepancies exceeding 100%, both for isothermal and isobaric data sets. To verify this problem new measurements were performed. In this work, total pressures P ranging from 3.5 kPa to 100 kPa, as a function of temperature, for pure ethyl acetate, ethanol, and for ethyl acetate+ethanol mixtures at various constant mole fraction compositions are reported. The correlation with AEOS equation of state shows that the present results are accurate and thermodynamically consistent.
