Abstract

Let π \pi be a nilpotent group and let M M be a π \pi -module. Under certain finiteness assumptions we prove that the twisted homology groups H i ( π , M ) {H_i}(\pi ,M) vanish for all positive i i whenever H 0 ( π , M ) = 0 {H_0}(\pi ,M) = 0 .
