Abstract
The secret of the Magic Wall is its simplicity. Using two overhead projectors instead of one does more than double the impact. Because the projected images are contiguous, the elongated picture area becomes a wide screen. Multiple images join each other as they are gradually revealed one after another, creating a gigantic billboard. Unlike their passive roles in the commercial entertainment they love so much, where their chief function is to stare at a movie or TV screen, students become part of the Magic Wall. Instead of listening to a soundtrack, they provide the sound. Participation and interaction are the keys to motivation.
