Abstract

Objective To analyze the value of ventricular endoscopy in the treatment of hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage (HIGH). Methods A total of 68 cases with HIGH treated in Linyi Central Hospital of Shandong Province from March 2018 to February 2019 were selected. The patients were divided into control group and observation group, with 34 cases in each group. The control group was treated with craniotomy, the observation group was treated with ventriculoscope. The length of bone window, incision length and blood loss were compared between the two groups, and the complications of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group (91.18%) was higher than that of the control group (70.59%), the difference was significant (P<0.05). The bone window length and incision length of the patients in the observation group were significantly shorter than that of the control group, and the amount of blood loss in the observation group was less than that in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group (20.59%) was higher than that in the control group (44.12%), the difference was significant (P<0.05). Conclusions The use of ventricular endoscopy in the treatment of HIGH can obtain ideal results with fewer postoperative complications, less invasive advantages and higher application value. Key words: Hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage; Intraventricular endoscopy; Application value
