Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical diagnostic value of serum high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and cystatin (Cystatin,Cys-C) expression levels in acute coronary syndrome (ACS).Methods We measured and analyzed the expression level of Hs-CRP,Cys-C,MMP-9,IL-6 and eNOS in 134 patients with ACS and 62 healthy people.ACS patients contain 60 stable angina (SA) patients,52 unstable angina pectoris (UAP) patients and 52 acute myocardial infarction (AMI) patients.Results ① The expression level of hs-CRP (mg/L) was higher in SA group(4.87 ± 0.65),UAP group(9.81 ± 1.13) and AMI group (20.27 ± 2.36) compared with healthy group (1.24 ± 0.52) (P < 0.05).The expression level of CysC (mg/L) was higher inSAgroup(0.76 ± 0.13),UAPgroup (1.03 ± 0.17) and AMI group (1.39 ±0.36) compared with healthy group 0.46 ± 0.07)(P < 0.05).The expression level of M MP-9 (μg/mL) was higher in SA group (308.43 ± 35.52),UAP group (379.86 ± 27.90),AMI group (420.13 ± 50.16) compared with healthy group(112.07 ± 10.18) (P < 0.05).The expression level of IL-6 (pg / L) was also higher in SA group (62.37 ± 5.18),UAP group (69.05 ± 7.18),AMI group (72.53 ± 6.95) compared with healthy group (27.19 ± 3.96) (P < 0.05).However,the expression level of eNOS (μmol / L) was lower in SA group (22.84 ± 2.65),UAP group (19.43 ± 1.79) and AMI group (7.93 ± 1.17) compared with healthy group (30.19 ± 3.53) (P < 0.05) ; ② There are associations between hs-CRP with Cys-C,MMP-9,eNOS and between Cys-C with MMP-9,eNOS,IL-6 (P < 0.05) ; ③The expression of hs-CRP,Cys-C in SA group,UAP group and AMI group increased gradually,which has a statistically significant difference (P <0.05).Conclusion Expression of serum hs-CRP and Cys-C has clinical significance for the diagnosis of ACS.
