Value of local wisdom in the tradition of bersih desa gaplikan as a form of student character

Abstract

As one of the bersih desa tradition, bersih desa Gaplikan tradition can be used as one of the learning materials in schools because it contains many local wisdom values that can be used in shaping the character of students. The purpose of this study was to explain the values of local wisdom contained in the bersih desa tradition. The values of local wisdom contained in the tradition of bersih desa Gaplikan include religious values, social values that include the value of togetherness, goyong royong, deliberation and most recently cultural values. There are various procession in the implementation of this tradition of bersih desa Gaplikan including joint prayers, gunungan parades and Gaplik Dance art performances performed by Mr. Gaplik. This research illustrates qualitative research with an anthropological approach. Data is collected using interview, archival and observation techniques. The data obtained is then analyzed with an anthropological approach.
