Abstract

<span>This work aims to evaluate the reasons why students abandon teaching assistance activities of the Organic Chemistry Department, as well as, whether a change in the Institutional Projects could be the cause of the decrease in the abandon rate. From the assistants point of view, one of the most important reasons that lead them to leave the activities is related to the possibility of developing other more valued activities in the University, for example Scientific works. However, the implementation of a new Institutional Project which has an important valuation of the assistants, could be the main cause of the decrease in the abandon of the activities developed.</span>
