Co.'s principal subsidiary is a national banking association, Valley National Bank (VNB), which provides a full range of commercial and retail banking services through 169 branch offices located in New Jersey and New York City. These services include the acceptance of demand, savings and time deposits; extension of consumer, real estate, small business administration (SBA) loans and other commercial credits; equipment leasing; and personal and corporate trust, as well as pension and fiduciary services. As of Dec 31 2006, Co. has with about $12.40 billion in total assets and $8.50 billion in deposits.
