Abstract

Hydrocarbon is a topic that is considered difficult by students, the lack of concept understanding leads the students into decreasing of interest and motivation, difficulty in learning and misconceptions. Curriculum 2013 demands the students to actively seek, proceed, and developing knowledge in the learning process, as well as skillfully in using media and technology. This study aims to produce interactive learning media based on the CMS-WordPress website on hydrocarbon materials and determine the level of its validity. The type of research used is educational design research using the Plomp model. The research procedure includes the preliminary research stage, the prototyping stage, and the assessment phase. This research is limited to the prototyping stage, namely the validity test to produce prototype III. The media that developed as a whole is categorized as valid, based on the Aiken’s V formula analysis, with a content validity value: 0.86; construct validity value: 0.87; and media validity: 0.94.

 Hidrokarbon merupakan materi yang dianggap sulit oleh peserta didik, kurangnya pemahaman konsep mengakibatkan peserta didik mengalami penurunan minat dan motivasi belajar, kesulitan mempelajari materi tersebut dan miskonsepsi. Kurikulum 2013 menuntut peserta didik untuk aktif mencari, mengolah dan mengembangkan pengetahuan dalam proses pembelajaran serta terampil menggunakan media dan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis website CMS-WordPress pada materi hidrokarbon dan mengetahui tingkat validitasnya. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan pendidikan menggunakan model Plomp. Prosedur penelitian meliputi tahapan studi pendahuluan, pengembangan atau pembuatan prototipe, dan tahap penilaian. Penelitian ini dibatasi pada tahapan prototyping stage yaitu uji validitas untuk menghasilkan prototipe III. Media yang dikembangkan secara keseluruhan dinyatakan valid berdasarkan analisis formula Aiken’s V, dengan nilai validitas konten sebesar 0,86, validitas konstruk sebesar 0,87, dan validistas media sebesar 0,94.
