Abstract

The Dietary Sodium Restriction Questionnaire (DSRQ) has been culturally adapted into Brazilian Portuguese (Questionário de Restrição de Sódio na Dieta) and was designed to assess attitudes and behaviors related with adherence to dietary sodium restriction. However, in order to be used in the management of patients with heart failure, the instrument has to be validated for use in Brazil. Aim: To test the psychometric properties (validity and reliability) of the Brazilian version of the DSRQ.
