Abstract

The name Spiradiclis elliptica Y.M.Shui & W.H.Chen is validly published here according to the Article 39.1 of ICN. Many detailed morphological characters as well as an illustration are also supplemented for further taxonomic identification. This new species is characterized by its persistent, ovate to ovate-oblong, 7–10 mm long stipules, and oblong to ovate-oblong, white or sometimes pink bracts with rounded apices. The conservation status was assessed as Least Concern (LC) according to the IUCN Red List categories and criteria.
