Abstract
Uniaxial tension and compression tests were performed to obtain experimental data for identification of material parameters of rubber. For this, the Mooney-Rivlin hyperelastic material model was used. Since the possibility to change sample stress states from pure shear to combination of tension/shear, the Arcan shear test is an attractive experiment for the validation of the identified material parameters. The parameters were validated using the comparison of Arcan shear test data and their finite element simulation. Three types of clamping of Arcan samples were investigated. The clamping using glued metal plates together with 3D printed plastic spacer sleeves was the most suitable.
