Abstract

Temporal and moral values of the imperfect, with application to selected texts. We have studied the imperfect in its two most important values. 1- Time value of the imperfect (real time). 2- Modal value of imperfect (unreal time) within this general scheme, we have made a subdivision. In the first part of our work, we studied: - Chapter I - situation of the imperfect in the French verbal system. Chapter II- Semantic Values of the Imperfect. - Chapter III- The use of the imperfect in the literature "application on a choice of texts" - In the second part, we studied: - Chapter I- The particular uses of the imperfect.
