Abstract

Valeology is a science that studies the internal reserves of the human organism and possibilities to increase them. At present, it is very dynamic time, when social and technological transformations are constantly happening, larger and larger digitalization “embraces” the activities of traditional cultures and institutions, a person has to respond to these challenges and adapt to these changes. Therefore, recommendations of this science are very important. The change rapidity, their ambiguity and the need to respond these challenges effect the human health including staff working in library and information institutions. In this regard, the relevance of considering issues of library valeology as the direction of library information activity is growing. The current subjects of library science is to study and prevent professional diseases of the librarians, as well as, educational activities of the library to promote healthy lifestyle. The article objective is to provide a brief description of risks of occupational diseases of library workers for to develop ways for the valeological support of professional activities based on the experience of the Municipal Budgetary Institution of Culture “Centralized Library System” in Nazarovo city, Krasnoyarsk Region. In the research process the concept of “library valeology” has been considered, the professional diseases of librarians have been identified, the program “Our Health!” to prevent the librarians health has been created. The presented experience in the practical implementation of library valeology may interest colleagues both in the library, and other spheres of culture.

Параллельно с этим процессом происходит и интеграция знания, в результате которой появляются мегадисциплины, включающие в себя ряд научных дисциплин, множество специальностей и исследовательских областей. Савич, «библиотечная валеология – это практико-­ориентированная научная дисциплина, в комплексе представляющая проблемы сохранения здоровья субъектов информационно-­ библиотечной деятельности (БИД), опирающаяся на достижения наук о человеке и его здоровье, детерминированных особенностями БИД, обладающих значительным теоретическим и практическим потенциалом, основанном на понимании здоровья как социально-г­ уманитарного феномена. Библиотечная валеология имеет основной своей целью содействие сохранению и воспроизводству здоровья пользователей библиотек и библиотечно-­ информационных работников через использование интеллектуальных, документных, технологических, материально-­технических ресурсов библиотечно-­ информационных учреждений» [2, с. 11; 3]
