Abstract
Information about the density of states N(E) of CuInSe 2 bulk crystals was obtained from soft X-ray emission spectra. The contributions from s, p and d states to N(E) appear to be centred at approximately 2.5 eV below the Fermi level. There is no evidence for the Cu 3 d states to be centred at energies lower than for the other distributions.
