Abstract
Vaginismus is a dysfunction due to involuntary contractions of woman's vaginal muscles so that intercourse cannot take place. This situation is defined as incomplete marriage by some authors. The women with vaginismus sometimes state this disorder as aversion to intercourse, to be afraid and sometimes as sexual pain disorder. More cognitive behavioral therapies are used in the treatment of vaginismus. In this paper, a case with vaginismus who admitted to our clinics and was treated with hypnotherapy is discussed
