Abstract

Antireflux surgery (ARS) has been recognized in the efficacy of gastric-esophageal reflux disease. With the continuous promotion of this surgical procedure some surgical-related complications such as vagus nerve injury have attracted the attention of clinicians. The VNI is a common complication of anti-reflux surgery, its damage has lead to functional changes of the corresponding organ and organs, the effect of recurrence after reflux surgery. It has become a hot spot in the field of anti-reflux surgery both at home and abroad. The incidence of Vagus nerve injury after ARS, the complications caused by VIR, and the short-term effects of anti-reflux surgery are detailed in this article.
