Abstract

(Abstracted from BJOG 2019;126(5):556–567) Around the world, approximately 15 million pregnancies each year end in preterm birth (before 37 weeks' gestation), a major contributor to child morbidity and mortality. To reduce the risk of preterm birth for women at increased risk, interventions include progesterone, cervical cerclage, and cervical pessary.
