Abstract

Vacuum tunneling experiments as well as Josephson current measurements on heavy fermion superconductors have been performed. In a point contact between the ordinary singlet superconductor Al and CeCu 2 Si 2 a Josephson current could be observed. The value of the critical current I c was between 15 and 80% of the theoretical upper limit. From this we conclude that at least CeCu 2 Si 2 does not behave like a p-wave superconductor. Furthermore a typical interference pattern of I c with an external magnetic field could be measured. In the case of a UPt 3 single crystal no Josephson current could be observed.
