Abstract
A chiral bag model with ([) meson is presented and discussed in relation to the Skyrmion model with ([) meson. Contributions from the vacuum polarization to physical quantities, i.e., the axial current flow and the baryon number density at the bag surface, are properly treated with a require ment that the Skyrmion with ([) should be realized as the limiting case of bag radius R -+ O. It is found that a natural extension from the previous works on the chiral bag model without ([) meson is possible and the R -dependence of the total energy becomes very weak at R < 1 fm as one of main features of our results.
